Drumburgh Moss NNR (Cumbrian Wildlife Trust) - 01/09/2022
One of the wetland mosses in the Solway Coast area of outstanding natural beauty (also see Glasson Moss and Bowness on Solway NNR). We visited after a shopping trip to Carlisle. A fine late summer day with numerous dragonflies about (lots of Black Darter, also Common Darter, Moorland Hawker, Emperor Dragonfly and Common Spreadwing . There is a nice circuit walk of ~3km including a board-walk across the moss.
